Your body is an amazing machine. Even more so when it’s tuned. Here are some ways to vary your workout, because your body adapts quickly to the same-old same-old. And doing exercises correctly means your workout is far more efficient.

Safe Resistance Training
How to reduce the risk of injury during resistance training:
- Perform at least one warm-up set with light weights.
- Use light weights when starting to perform a new exercise or after time off from resistance training.
- Don't ignore joint pain. Stop when it hurts.
- Never try maximal lifts without proper instruction, preparation and a spotter.
- Don't lockout joints.
- Keep the tension on the muscle, not on the joint.
- Maintain control over the weight throughout the whole exercise – especially when returning the weight to the exercise's start position.
