Taking Care of Dry Skin


Although this tip is geared more to the winter months, here are suggestions on how to treat dry skin:

  • Use good moisturizers -- especially after a bath or shower.
  • Don't use skin-care products that contain alcohol.
  • Use a humidifier when the air is dry.
  • Drink lots of water throughout the day.
  • Avoid long, hot showers and baths. These can actually dry skin even more.
